This beautiful porcelain teacup and saucer with it's sweet violets and bold gold trim have traveled far to land here in Canada, much like the history of the name it carries. Made in Japan's Tea Road 5000 shop, this little teacup and saucer pay homage to what was once the highway, Tea Horse Road, for trade of tea and horses between Southern Yunnan and the Tibetan Plateau, a 5000 km journey by horse.
